Seniors to Continue Football Careers at Top Colleges

WHITE PLAINS – At the recent National Signing Day at Stepinac High School, members of the championship Crusaders varsity football team and Class of 2018 signed commitments to continue their football careers at the collegiate level.

They were Ronald “Deuce” Williams of Valhalla who will play for The Citadel, The Military University of South Carolina, and Tyler Winston of New Rochelle who will play for the University at Albany (SUNY).

Last December, Trill Williams of Yonkers committed to Syracuse University, the highest-rated player from New York to do so.

The three seniors, who will graduate in May, were instrumental in helping their team clinch both the 2017 CHSFL AAA title and the New York State CHSAA crown.

It was Stepinac’s third league win the past four years and its second state title in the past three years.
