POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center report the arrest of Felipe M. Ramon, age 30 of Pawling, on Feb. 13, 2018, in connection with a recent investigation into child pornography.
At this time the Sheriff’s Office said Ramon is accused of allegedly soliciting pornographic photos from, and sending photos to, a child less than 17 years old via social media sites and a cell phone, according to officials.
The victim is known to Ramon, said police, who are withholding further details to protect the victim’s privacy.
Ramon has been charged with nine (9) counts each of (A) Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, (B) Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, and (C) Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, all felonies.
After arraignment at the Town of Pawling Court, Ramon was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
