YORKTOWN – Yorktown Police report the arrest of a White Plains man for weapon possession.
Police were called to Panera Bread Restaurant, located at 6 Triangle Shopping Center on Feb. 11, 2018, for an individual ‘playing with a knife’.
When Officer Doherty arrived on the scene, police officials said 23-year-old Ryan McCullough allegedly possessed a gravity knife in plain view of the officer and customers at the restaurant.
It is also alleged McCullough had a previous conviction of a crime that elevated the charge to Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, a Class D felony, officials added.
McCullough was arrested, processed at headquarters and arraigned by the Honorable Judge Raniolo who set bail at $15,000 cash or $15,000 bond.
McCullough was unable to post bail and was remanded to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court at a later date to answer the charge.
