KINGSTON – Members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) report the arrest of Greg R. Lunn, age 45 of Woodstock for drug possession.
On Jan. 11, 2018, at about 4:15 p.m., a vehicle stop was initiated by members of the Town of Woodstock Police Department for a traffic violation on Mill Hill Road in the Town of Woodstock, said authorities.
Members of URGENT were called to assist and responded and found Lunn, a passenger in the vehicle, was allegedly found to be in possession of lysergic acid diethylamide, more commonly known as LSD, marijuana and pharmaceutical tablets. He was placed under arrest, added authorities.
The defendant was transported to the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center and charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree (1 count), a class A-II felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (1 count), a class A misdemeanor
Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th degree (1 count), a class A misdemeanor
The defendant was arraigned in the Town of Woodstock Justice Court and was remanded to the Ulster County Jail, in lieu of $12,000 cash bail or $24,000 secured bond.
