CARMEL – Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Bronx woman on narcotic possession charges.
On Jan. 5, 2018, Sheriff Langley said Lisa M. Bianco, aged 39, of Bronx, NY, was committed to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for a violation of Probation.
During intake procedures, Correction Officers searched Bianco.
During the course of the search, a quantity of alleged heroin and cocaine was found secreted on Bianco.
Bianco was arrested and charged with (2) two counts of Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, a class D Felony, and (2) two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a class A Misdemeanor.
Bianco was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Joseph J. Spofford, Jr. of the Town of Carmel Justice Court and remanded to the Putnam County Correctional facility, in lieu of $25,000 cash / $50,000 bond, pending a future court date.
