LIVINGSTON – A Pine Plains man was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Livingston residence.
Columbia County 911 dispatched State Police from the Livingston barracks to a burglary on Elm Street in the Town of Livingston on Oct. 19, 2017, just after 7 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2017.
Troopers arrived shortly after the suspect left and were informed the alleged suspect was familiar to the victim.
Continued investigation led to the arrest of Steven T. Beers, age 27, of Pine Plains, for the burglary.
He was charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.
Beers was arraigned before the Town of Livingston Justice Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash and $5,000 bond.
Beers is next scheduled to appear before the Town of Livingston Justice Court at a later date.
