Kristen Capolino Headlines Fallen Heroes' Fundraiser

MARLBORO –  Hudson Valley’s own rock guitarist extraordinaire, Kristen Capolino, kicks off a groundbreaking series of concerts Thursday, October 12th, at The Falcon in Marlboro. In conjunction with Friends of Fallen Heroes NY, Capolino’s “Mondial” project will feature Kristen’s “power rock” performance fueled by friends and influencers she’s worked with throughout her career. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Gene Cornish of The Rascals will join Kristen on-stage as her special guest.

Kristen Capolino started playing guitar at the tender age of 5 and by 14 was astounding audiences with incredible rock ‘n roll performances. Over the course of her action-packed career, Kristen has had the privilege of sharing the stage and recording with a variety of well-respected greats including Earl Slick, Les Paul, James Burton, Michael Schenker, Al DiMeola, Steve Lukather, Jennifer Batten, Doug Pinnick and Wyclef Jean, to name a few. She’ll be featured in two upcoming guitar-focused documentaries, “Turn it Up” and “The Axe Factor.”

This “Guitar Heroine” has also had the support of her world class vocal coach, Don Lawrence, whose resume includes Mick Jagger, Bono, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett.

Kristen’s “Mondial” (Romanian for “worldwide”) is being produced in conjunction with Friends Of Fallen Heroes NY –  a 501(c)3 charity to benefit wounded Veterans and Law Enforcement Personnel.  A substantial portion of the proceeds of this event will go directly to Friends Of Fallen Heroes NY.

Her current album, “These Days” was recorded in Nashville with Kenny Greenberg (Kenny Chesney, Bob Seger),  “Burning Sky” was recorded with Earl Slick, Gail Ann Dorsey and Sterling Campbell (both of David Bowie).
