NYACK – A Staten Island man was arrested in Rockland County for striking another man in the face at a Nyack bar located on Main St.
According to Orangeburg Police, Nicholas Pucciarelli, age 21, allegedly walked up to the victim and struck him in the face numerous times causing serious injuries to the victim’s eye. The incident occurred on Oct. 1, 2017.
Police said the male victim was known to the defendant.
Pucciarelli was located four days later by police on Rt. 340 in Orangeburg and placed under arrest.
He was charged with Assault 2nd degree, a felony.
Pucciarelli was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Knoebel and released on bail to return to court at a later date to answer the charge.
