POUGHKEEPSIE – Goldstein and Goldstein LLP, Attorneys and Counselors at Law, announced that Paul J. Goldstein, Esq., partner and attorney at the firm, has been recognized among the top attorneys in New York State by Super Lawyers.
This marks the tenth year the Poughkeepsie-based attorney and Dutchess County native has earned the designation.
Conducted by a division of Thomson Reuters, the attorney review measures success of lawyers throughout the United States using a variety of metrics, including settlements, verdicts, experience, honors, awards, and community service.

Goldstein is admitted to the New York and Florida State Bars, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Northern, and Eastern District of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Dutchess County Bar Association and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Goldstein has served as a delegate with the New York State Bar Association and past president of the Dutchess County Bar Association.
The longtime local attorney is active in a number of community-based initiatives, serving as board member and vice chairman of TEG Federal Credit Union, past board member of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, past board member of the American Heart Association (awarded the development volunteer of the year in 1992), member and past board member of the Poughkeepsie Tennis Club, and past president of Poughkeepsie Ballet Theater.
