KINGSTON – The City of Kingston Police report the arrest of Jeffrey Munoz, age 30 of Kingston.
Police said on Jan. 26, 2017, Kingston Police Department’s SIU and the New York State Division of Parole conducted an investigation into the whereabouts of Munoz was wanted by parole.
According to authorities, investigators were recently able to determine that Munoz was at an apartment located above a business on Broadway in Kingston.
When investigators attempted to make contact with Munoz, police said he tried to evade officers by climbing out of a second story window onto a roof.
After a brief struggle, Munoz was taken into custody.
He was taken to Kingston Police Department and charged with Violation of Parole, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration.
He is currently being held at the Ulster County Jail.
