ARDSLEY – Veteran public relations and marketing executive Frank Pagani has announced he is celebrating the fifth anniversary of his communications consultancy— Pagani PR— based in Ardsley.
Since starting his consulting firm in the summer of 2012, Pagani has provided strategic public relations and marketing communications programs for a wide range of leading non-profit and corporate clients based in Westchester. Among them are Archbishop Stepinac High School, Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley, Howard Properties, Hudson Loft, Today’s Teachers Tomorrow’s Students, The Kensington (Assisted Living), El Centro Hispano, Citrin Cooperman, Scully Construction LLP, Doubletree by Hilton Tarrytown and Real-Time Computer Services.
A results-oriented, client-focused professional, Pagani says he helps decision makers stay ahead of the curve and improve their bottom lines via his Getting Your Story Right approach. He explained it as a close collaboration with clients to drill down through comprehensive research to uncover and unleash the unique core values and messages that set a company, product or service apart from the competition.
In addition to public relations and marketing communications campaigns, Pagani provides “My Defining Moments,” a creative copywriting service to help baby boomers and seniors tell the stories about the events that shaped their lives.
Growing up in the Bronx, he says his career in communications began at Morris High School when he joined the staff of the school newspaper, starting as a reporter and then promoted to editor-in-chief in his senior year. Joining the U.S. Air Force as a communications specialist, he was assigned first to Plattsburgh Air Force Base, NY and then to the RAF 20th Tactical Fighter Wing in Wethersfield, Great Britain, where he earned the prestigious Best Newspaper and Best Editor Awards in NATO.
Following his military service and graduating from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he co-founded and was senior creative writer for Miller & Pagani, a New York City graphic design firm specializing in creating and producing annual reports for publicly-owned companies and organizations. Among the initial public offering reports he created were for King World Productions and New Line Cinema, companies that respectively went on to become leaders in television program distribution and motion picture production. He also won several Creativity Awards for outstanding annual report copywriting.
Before starting Pagani PR, the award-winning writer supported top companies and organizations including The Westchester County Association, Iona College, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, White Plains Hospital, The Business Council of Westchester, the Radisson Hotel New Rochelle, Houlihan-Lawrence, Simone Development, Cappelli Enterprises, New York State Society of CPAs, Guardian Life Insurance Company, among others.
He has contributed bylined articles and feature stories to the Westchester County Business Journal, Fairfield County Business Journal and The Wag. Pagani is also a published poet and has won awards including the annual Town of Greenburgh Poetry Competition.
As an active member of the Ardsley American Legion Post, he has spearheaded an advocacy initiative including media outreach targeted to New York State legislators and the Governor to reform the Veterans Alternative Property Tax measure so that qualified veterans everywhere throughout the state, not just some, will be able to enjoy some relief on their property taxes.
