Join Rebuilding Our Children and Community on Wednesday, July 5th and Wednesday, July 19th, for a workshop to help assist students in applying for the Tuition-Free Program: The Excelsior Scholarship.

If you are a NYS resident whose family household does not exceed $100,000 for the 2017-18 academic year and you complete 30 credits per year, you will be able to attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition free.

Students have until July 21st to apply for an Excelsior Grant and attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition free this fall.

Starting college is exciting but it can also be stressful. Applying for financial aid, purchasing books, and the entire experience is new to many and often overwhelming. ROCC has created workshops to assist both new and returning college students with the first, tuition-free program in New York.

The Excelsior Scholarship, in combination with all other awards, will cover tuition up to $6,470 for the 2017-18 academic year.

The workshop will be held at the Poughkeepsie Family Partnership Center in Conference Room 101 from 6:30pm-7:30pm on July 5, 2017 and from 6:00pm-7:00pm on July 19, 2017. Please email to reserve your seat and to learn more about the tuition-free program.

Rebuilding Our Children and Community is a non profit organization in the City of Poughkeepsie. As of July 1, Rebuilding Our Children and Community will be located within the Family Partnership Center, 29 N. Hamilton Street Poughkeepsie, NY.
