BETHEL – Bethel Woods Center for the Arts invites the global community to join them on Saturday, Jul. 1 for a free day of family fun, with fireworks at dusk.
The festivities will include live music, guided museum tours, interpretive walks and talks about the historic Woodstock festival site, a variety of activities and games, collaborative art projects, and an array of arts and educational programs for the whole family, topped off by a fireworks display.
Additionally the museum will again offer $10 admission for the day (free for Sullivan County residents with I.D.), and there will be a variety of local vendors and food trucks offering food and beverages, as well as handmade jewelry, gifts, crafts and more.
As part of Bethel Woods continued commitment to public safety, a new bag policy has been put into effect which encourages guests to travel light. Clear bags are encouraged to facilitate a speedy entry for the gathering, and all bags may be subject to an extended security search.
Standard rules apply for permitted and prohibited items, and the full policy can be found here.
In the case of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 2.
