CORTLANDT – New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks were dispatched to Kohl’s on Main Street for a suspicious male subject taking photos of a female patron.
Loss prevention reported they observed a man, who police later identified as Jeremiah J. Jones, age 36 of Peekskill, take a photo of a customer wearing a skirt as she bent over to pick up an item from the floor, according to police.
Jones was identified and located later that day following an investigation.
He was arrested and charged with Unlawful Surveillance in the 2nd Degree, a Class E Felony.
He was issued an appearance ticket to the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court at a later date.
