WESTCHESTER – Officials are reporting a Metro-North train partially derailed just north of Rye on the New Haven line It happened behind the Avon Building on Midland Avenue near the 95/287 Interchange shortly after 5 p.m. Metro-North says there are up to 30-minute delays. Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino told CBS2 that speed was to blame. The derailment happened along a curve in a 10 miles per hour zone.

Officials say there were 185 people on board and 12 people suffered minor injuries, including one person complaining of chest pains who was taken off the train in a stretcher.
