RHINEBECK – Access Physical Therapy & Wellness has announced its newest physical therapist, Nicole Havlik, PT, DPT, to its Rhinebeck office.

Nicole Havlik

Havlik received her bachelor’s degree in health science and continued on to receive her doctorate of physical therapy from Springfield College in Massachusetts. While attending college, Havlik completed an internship with Access Physical Therapy & Wellness, and upon graduating, decided to join the Access team as a physical therapist.

“I pursued physical therapy because I saw it as my best opportunity to help others as a profession,” said Havlik. “By developing individualized treatment plans for patients, I feel like I’m actually addressing the underlying issue causing their ailment, rather than just treating the symptoms.”

Havlik is interested in helping patients with sports-related injuries, postoperative patients with orthopedic conditions, elderly patients with balance issues and neurological patients following a stroke.

“I think that Nicole will make an excellent addition to the Rhinebeck team,” said Rhinebeck Director, Helena Hobson, PT, DPT. “She has a clear passion for physical therapy, and she really cares about helping patients live life to its fullest.”

The Rhinebeck clinic provides services for orthopedic injuries, back and neck pain, balance problems and dizziness, post-surgical recovery, torticollis, concussions, difficulty walking, headaches, TMJ, and various neurological conditions.
