MARLBORO – Poughkeepsie got the Brendan Mahusky treatment on the mound and at the plate Monday when Marlboro beat the Pioneers 4-1.  Mahusky pitched 6 2/3 innings and collected nine strikeouts for his third win without a loss. He also had 2 RBIs at the plate.  The Iron Dukes improved to 7-3 in the league and 8-5 overall.

Offensively, Marlboro picked up nine hits.  Mike Paolo and Phil Janiero each had two; Paolo also had an RBI.  Sam Mongelli drove in the other Marlboro run.
