WHITE PLAINS – Seth M. Mandelbaum, a partner in the law firm of at McCullough, Goldberger and Staudt, LLP in White Plains, has been selected to be a moderator during the Westchester County Association Real Estate Summit, Transforming Westchester: From Innovative Planning to Regulatory Streamlining.
The event will take place at the Westchester Marriot Hotel on Thursday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mandelbaum will moderate the afternoon session entitled Smart Growth: Improving Financial Performance, Lowering Taxes, and Creating Greater Efficiencies.
Mandelbaum practices in the areas of land use and environmental law, municipal law, and not-for-profit organizations. In addition, he is one of only a handful of attorneys in New York to be certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP). He is admitted to the New York State Bar; the Connecticut State Bar; U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, and the District of Connecticut. Mandelbaum holds a J.D., cum laude, and an Environmental Law Certificate from Pace University School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor for the Pace Environmental Law Review; and a B.A., with Honors, from the University of Florida, where he majored in Environmental Policy.
Mandelbaum is also the Board Vice Chairperson for Westchester Parks Foundation and was appointed as Co-Chair of the Environmental Law Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association in 2012.
