POUGHKEEPSIE – Frank A. Cania, president and founder of driven HR, a Pittsford, NY-based human resources consulting firm, will discuss today’s most glaring compliance issues, and why they may threaten the continued success and prosperity of the local business community during his keynote address at the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s next Contact Breakfast on Wednesday, May 17 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Conference Center.

Cania is a frequent speaker and writer on HR-related topics, and his ongoing volunteer efforts include federal advocacy director for the New York State Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) council, team captain for the SHRM National Legislative Advocacy Team; instructor for the Association of Workplace Investigators’ Annual Training Institute; and member of the executive compensation, and HR committees for the YMCA of Greater Rochester. Cania also recently provided expert witness testimony to the House of Representatives Small Business Committee on the costs and burdens excessive paperwork and reporting requirements place on small businesses.
