HIGHLAND:  The Highland Huskies scored five goals in the third quarter, leading to a 9-1 win over Pine Bush Wednesday.  The game was played at the Highland Middle School field.
Highland jumped out with two quick goals in the first quarter and the game stood at a 2-0 halftime lead for the Huskies.  Highland came out of the halftime locker room fired up and went on a rampage with five goals in the third to make it a 7-0 game after three quarters of play.
The Huskies were led by Roger Hegeman’s four goals.   David Wood, Mike Cerniglia, Ethan Esposito, Noah Babineau, and Jack Frederick each scored a goal for Highland.  David DeGroodt scored the lone, unassisted, goal for Pine Bush to avoid the shutout.

Jesse Weaver was in a giving mood with four assists; Danny Rusk had two

Giorgio D’Angelo was stingy in goal with 12 saves.

Highland is now 6-2,  Pine Bush is 1-5
