TOWN OF WALLKILL – On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at approximately 9:12 p.m., Town of Wallkill Police Officer Daniel Ward responded to Orange Regional Medical Center for a report of an assault, according to Town of Wallkill Police Chief Robert C. Hertman.

Upon his arrival to the hospital, Officer Ward discovered three victims who were being treated for stab wounds.

During his investigation into the incident, it is alleged that all of the victims were stabbed during an altercation earlier that evening at Woodstock Park, which is located on Woodstock Lane, in the Town of Wallkill, according to Hertman.

The first victim was identified as a 26-year-old male from the Town of Wallkill who is currently listed in critical condition at ORMC for a stab wound to his torso.

The second victim was identified an 18-year-old male from Pine Bush who is currently listed in critical condition at ORMC for stab wound to his torso, arm and leg.

The third victim was identified as a 19-year-old male from Wawayanda. He was treated and released from ORMC for stab wounds to his leg and arm.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
