NEWBURGH – The City of Newburgh will host a Community Water Meeting on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the Baptist Temple, 7-11 William St. in Newburgh, to discuss the status of the NYS Department of Health (DOH) PFOS Blood Testing Program and Outreach Efforts, as well as the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) efforts to ensure clean drinking water in the City of Newburgh.

This is the City of Newburgh’s 5th community outreach forum.

According to City Manager, Michael G. Ciaravino, “It is important for the City of Newburgh to keep its residents appraised of the status of the blood testing program as well as ensuring environmental justice rights are preserved in this community. The safety of the City’s drinking water is our priority.”
