The day began with the new THINK DIFFERENTLY DASH, a one-mile run for people with physical and developmental disabilities organized by the Walkway Over the Hudson and Dutchess County government. The Health and Wellness Expo followed with a wide variety of vendors on hand to share information with the public and also to support runners arriving to pick up their race bibs. There were running seminars, giveaways, food, and music.

Dutchess Tourism President & CEO Mary Kay Vrba said, “Many area businesses benefit by using this event to reach this much-coveted audience with their products and services.” She added, “It’s the perfect opportunity for civic and business leaders to meet their business goals. I encourage them to take advantage of this special showcase every year.”
