MILLBROOK – Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County (CCEDC) announced the 2016 Association Board of Directors and Officers elected at its recent Reorganization Meeting.
Board Officers were re-elected, including CCEDC Board President Brad Roeller, Vice President Tom Sipos, Treasurer Mark Manning, and Secretary Andrea Parent-Tibbetts.
Each of the four Association Program Advisory Committees elected representatives to serve on the 2016 Board: from Agriculture/Horticulture, Dan Briggs and Mike Fargione; from Environment and Energy, Peter Berasi and Julie Hart; from 4-H Youth Development, Mary Ann Johnson and Peter Rossi; and from Family and Consumer Education, Mary Buglion.
Vicky Kelly and Mark Adams will continue in their roles as At-Large Board members in the coming year.
The Program Advisory Committees and the Officers and At-Large Board members also set goals for the year and shared success stories from 2015.
CCEDC, a subordinate governmental agency associated with Cornell University and its land-grant mission since 1869, provides research-based resources, tools and education for the residents and officials of Dutchess County.
Through quality educational programs, Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County builds strong, healthy youth, adults, families and communities while enhancing the economic, social, agricultural and natural resources of Dutchess County.
Each year, CCEDC’s educational programs touch the lives of over 10,000 Dutchess County residents with the assistance of more than 1,000 volunteers.
