cvs pharmacyTOWN OF ULSTER – The Ulster Police Department reports on February 15, 2016, they received a complaint from CVS regarding a female who allegedly made a purchase with counterfeit U.S currency.

Police said the suspect left the area in a vehicle; however a description of the vehicle was provided to police and it was located a short distance away.

According to police, the vehicle was occupied by Bianca K. Parrales, 18 years old from the Bronx and a 25 year old man also from the Bronx.

Both occupants were transported back to Ulster Police Department for further investigation.

As a result of an investigation, police said Parrales was found to have knowingly used counterfeit currency to make her purchase.

Parrales was charged with the Felony of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the first degree.

She was processed and arraigned before Town of Ulster Town Justice Marsha Weiss and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $5,000 cash $7,500 bond.

The Ulster Police Department was assisted by the Kingston Police Department.
