It was a show of political unity as all City of Poughkeepsie elected officials are sworn in together.

In a show of political unity, elected officials for the city of Poughkeepsie were sworn in together on Saturday before family, friends and colleagues at Changepoint Church. Representing the city on the Dutchess County Legislature are: Craig Brendli, Barbara Jeter-Jackson and Kari Reiser.  Returning members of the Poughkeepsie Common Council are:  J. Tracy Hermann, Randall A. Johnson II, Lee David Klein, Ann E. Perry and Christopher D. Petsas.  Newly elected members to the Poughkeepsie Common Council are: Natasha Cherry, Lorraine Johnson and Mike Young.  Along with Mayor Rob Rolison, all elected officials were on hand at the ceremony which ended just before the new city government’s first Common Council meeting of the year just across the street at city hall.
